General Equivalency Development (GED)
Who: Participants are at least 18 years old and have not completed their High School education. Click here if you are not 18 years old. If you are under 18 please call for a meeting before going to the testing session.
What: The GED is a series of 5 pre-tests and 5 final tests that include
You'll need at least a score of 410 on each test but no less than a total of 2250. So, that means some of your scores will have to be higher than 410 [2250/5=450], but don't worry; we'll help you figure that out!
When: Testing times are from 6:00PM - 8:30PM Tuesdays and Thursdays. GED Preparation tutoring is from 6:30PM - 8:30PM on Wednesdays.
Where: Both testing and tutoring are offered at Lisbon Adult & Community Education at 19 Gartley Street Lisbon Falls, Maine 04250.
Why: There many reasons why getting your GED is a smart idea! Recent graduates said they did it to;
How: No need to register! Just walk in on Tuesday or Thursday evening at 6PM. It's best to get here early as seats fill up quickly! The average person who attends testing once per week finishes the entire test in 8 weeks. If you're committed to being here twice a week you could be done in 4 weeks!
