Maine State Electrical Licensure Series

Maine State Electrical Licensure Series

Instructor: Jim Dunnington

The Electricity I course, (DC Circuits) will equip the student with the three types of circuit configurations, electrical schematics, electrical safety, electrical measuring equipment and ohms law calculations.  A certificate accepted by Maine State Electrical Licensing Board will be issued upon completion of course.

Look for other courses offered by LACE to complete a limited, journeyman, or master license. Course offerings from semester to semester will depend entirely on demand for the course. With Electricity 1, Controls 1 and Current National Electrical Code, and the proper number of experiential hours, the student will be prepared to sit for exams on limited licensure for water pumps, outdoors signs, gasoline dispensing, traffic signals/outdoor lighting, and crane technician. If a number of students express interest in other programs, arrangements will be made to offer the appropriate courses.
